A HAWICK man has admitted stealing a quantity of alcohol from the town's Aldi store.
Twenty-one-year-old Cody Nicholson of Silverbuthall Road, was caught on CCTV attempting to conceal a 12-pack of Budweiser bottles and then leaving the Commercial Road premises on December 15.
A not guilty plea from his co-accused Kian McHugh, 21, of Blair Avenue, Jedburgh, to the same charge was accepted by the Crown.
Sentence was deferred on Nicholson until June 3 at Jedburgh Sheriff Court for a personal appearance.
