CARTER Alan (Edinburgh) Alan, died peacefully on May 14 2017 at the Western General Hospital Edinburgh after a short illness, beloved and caring husband of the late Jean Carter, much beloved father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Survived by sons Gavin and Colin and sister Barbara. Will be much missed by family and friends. Funeral service will be held at St Columba's By The Castle, 14 Johnston Terrace, EH1 2PW on Tuesday May 30 at 11am, followed by a private family cremation. All family and friends welcome. Family flowers only please.
