FAIRBAIRN. - Barbara (Galashiels). Peacefully on 11th June 2017 in the Margaret Kerr Unit after a long battle fought with great strength and dignity, beloved civil partner of Heather and much loved by all her family and friends. There will be a private interment followed by a eulogy and celebration of her life on Friday 23rd June at 11:30am in the Abbotsford Bowling Club, Eastlands Road, Galashiels, to which all friends are invited. A special thanks to the lung oncology team and all the staff in the MKU for all their special care. No flowers, please, but donations if desired to Margaret Kerr Unit and Lung Cancer Research.
