IT has already been billed as the ultimate party to bring the summer to a close.

And now the Border Telegraph is offering four lucky readers and their mates a place on the guest list.

Ultrabeat and Mallorca Lee, two of the biggest names in dance music, will each headline a night at Move in Galashiels next week.

The events have been organised to celebrate Freshers Week at Heriot-Watt University, as the students return to the campus at Netherdale following the summer break.

However, the whole of the Borders has been invited.

Move boss Steve Cass this week told time-out: 'We hope to end the summer on a high note by hosting arguably the biggest club nights of the year."

Ultrabeat PA, best known for dance anthem "Pretty Green Eyes" - which reached number two in the charts in August 2003, will take to the stage on Thursday, September 11. Doors open 9 p.m. and tickets priced £5.

And Mallorca Lee, aka the voice of Public Domain, Ultra-Sonic and the Warp Bros, will headline a night of Hard Kandy - a touring club night hosted by former Gala DJ Art Newman - will follow on Friday, September 12. Doors open 10 p.m. and tickets priced £8.

It will also feature performances from DJ Dave Nelson (Future, Atlantics, Kavos, Corfu), MC/DJ Madman (Fantasylands, Fantazia), and Craig Rob DJ & Mitchell (Headfunk) - as well as a very special guest to be revealed in this paper next week.

Tickets for both gigs will be available on the door.

But we have reserved four spaces on the guest list for each night for our readers.

To have your name entered into the draw for a chance to win free entry to the club for you and a mate next week, all you have to do is answer the following question: Ultrabeat reached number two in the charts in August 2003 with a song which remains a dance anthem to this day - what is the name of the song?

Write your answers on the back of a postcard or sealed down envelope and send them, along with your name, address and daytime telephone number, to Move music venue competition, c/o Border Telegraph, 113 Channel Street, Galashiels, TD1 1BN.

Alternatively, email: amcgilvray@bordertelegraph.com

Please state which night you wish to go to in order of preference. The deadline for entries is lunchtime on Monday, September 8. And all entrants must be over 18. The editor"s decision is final.

Please note: The boys from cheesey chart-toppers S Club Seven will make an appearance at Move on Wednesday, September 10 - but this gig is for students only.
