NOTICE OF PROPOSED COMMUNITY
ENGAGEMENT EVENT
DETAILED PLANNING APPLICATION FOR
THE ERECTION OF A RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT
AND ASSOCIATED INFRASTRUCTURE INCLUDING
ROADS AND FOOTPATHS, SUDS SYSTEM AND OPEN
SPACE AT LAND TO THE SOUTH OF DEANFOOT ROAD AT
ROBINSLAND FARM, WEST LINTON
Notice is hereby given of a "drop in" event for all members of the
public to attend to learn more about the above proposed development
which will later be pursued with a detailed planning application to be
lodged with The Borders Council in May 2012.
The event will be held in the Graham Institute, Lower Green, West
Linton, EH46 7EW on Friday 10th February between the hours of
2pm and 8pm. At the event, representatives of Springfield Properties
PLC will be on hand to answer questions raised by the attending
public.
Further information relating to the development can be sought from
Springfield Properties PLC, Springfield House, 3 Central Park Avenue,
Falkirk, FK5 4RX (tel 01324 555536). An information pamphlet and
feedback form will be provided at the "drop in" event and all those in
attendance are encouraged to complete the form expressing their views
on the proposed development. The completed forms should be handed
to a Springfield Properties representative or sent to the company's
address as noted above.
For the avoidance of doubt it should be noted that any comments
submitted about the proposed development, either at the event itself
or subsequently by post, do not constitute representations to the Local
Planning Authority. The opportunity to submit any representation
in relation to the development can only be done after the detailed
planning application is formally submitted to The Borders Council.
