The premise in Bomberman Land is simple: you can move your bomber up, down, left and right and place a bomb which explodes a few seconds later and takes everything nearby with it.
Bomberman has always been one of the greatest multi-player games in the world so we don’t need to convince you of its charms in that regard. Invite a few friends round, switch on the game for a short blast. Eight hours later you’re still here.
But Bomberman Land (called Bomberman Land! Touch 2 on the DS, incidentally) adds an addictive single-player Story Mode to the mix, meaning the cute, family-friendly fun can continue when the other players have to leave.
Here, adventurers “take on quests and solve puzzles to bring peace and tranquility to the beleaguered Bomberman world”. In other words, they move their bomber up, down, left and right and place bombs which blow things up in hundreds of ways for hundreds of reasons.
