From the Andes to the Amazon, a night in Peru
FROM the misty depths of the Amazon rainforest to the lofty peaks of Machu Picchu, Peru remains a country steeped in mystery and adventure.
For one night only the Peebles High School Peru Trip 2016 team brings you a taste of Peruvian culture- all from comfort of your seats at the Eastgate Theatre next month.
Journey from shores of Lake Titicaca to the windswept refuges of Incan emperors on the words of our guest speaker and resident South American Patricia Berger-North, and then onwards down the length of South America with Che Guevara in a special showing of the award winning film The Motorcycle Diaries. Afterwards, enjoy the taste of South America with Peruvian food and drink served downstairs.
All funds raised go towards funding the Peebles High School 2016 Trip to Peru.
Date: Saturday, March 5, 7.30pm at the Eastgate Theatre, Peebles.
Tickets are priced £14, £7 for schoolchildren.
