FASHION conscious pupils at Selkirk High School are busily preparing for their annual catwalk showcase.

Sew and Tell takes place on Wednesday, March 29.

And the creative extravaganza promises to be bigger and better than ever with many more year groups involved.

Some of the sixth year pupils create individual outfits as well as working with their year buddies for further designs.

Third year students have worked on a creative armour project.

And students in the art and design department have produced masks and over the top brooches.

Second year pupils have been rehearsing with musician Steven Raynor to form a Trash Band for the opening and finale of the show.

Local companies including Liberty Star Trading and The Vault of Curiosity from Jedburgh are also showcasing their products during the evening.

Other students from the music department are also performing throughout the show.

Tickets are now available at £6 (concessions £4) from the High School office and Rodgerson's Newsagents.
