EXPECT some hilarity with your housework this week as the highly-talented Dramateurs take to the road.
The local actors take to the stage this evening in the Volunteer Hall for the opening performance of Dirty Dusting.
And tomorrow they head for St Boswell's Village Hall before concluding with a performance at the County Hotel in Selkirk.
Robin Murray from the Dramateurs told us: "Dirty Dancing is a comedy based around three elderly office cleaners facing redundancy, who set up their own telephone sex chat line on their last weekend of work.
"As the weekend progresses they have to hide their activities from their nasty and unsympathetic supervisor Dave, who is determined to get rid of them and replace them with three younger models.
"The play climaxes with a hilarious scene involving a vacuum cleaner and the unfortunate Dave.
"A good night out is guaranteed with lots of laughs throughout."
Each of this week's shows start at 7.30pm with tickets, priced at £10, available on the door.
