SCOTTISH Borders Council will plough around �400,000 into improving Newtown St Boswells, it was announced this week.
The local authority has committed itself to �23,000 of funding to start improvements in 2016.
And it will be followed by �43,000 the following year, and �103,000 in 2018/19.
A further �168,000 and �63,000 will come in the following two years.
