FIFE Council Building Services is creating twenty eight employment opportunities for young people.
The posts are a mixture of Modern Craft Apprenticeships and offer youngsters the opportunity to get a recognised trade qualification, gain work experience and earn money.
The following Modern Craft Apprenticeship positions are available: 6 plumbers; 8 joiners; 8 electricians; 1 painter; 1 bricklayer; 1 wood machinist; 1 fabricator welder; and 2 heating engineers.
These vacancies are for people who currently live in Fife and must also be aged between 16 and 24 as at the 31st July 2016.
Councillor Judy Hamilton, spokesperson for Housing and Building Services said: “These apprenticeships will allow these young people to gain the skills and experience that they can take into fantastic new careers in a wide variety of areas.”
Applications can be made through fife.myjobscotland.gov.uk. The closing date is Friday February 12.
