WE'RE getting reports of difficult driving conditions on many Borders roads this morning.
Heavy snow overnight, as well as a lorry coming off the road, led to police closing the A703 in Peeblesshire for a period.
The latest news is that the road is passable with care.
Many other roads in and around Peebles also have a covering of snow.
The A68 at Soutra has witnessed heavy snow this morning with several vehicles becoming stuck.
Road operators Amey have gritting vehicles on site to help traffic moving.
The A68 at Carter Bar has also seen some snow in the past hour.
And the A7 north of Stow has also witnessed several minor weather-related incidents this morning.
A spokesman for Scottish Borders Council said: "Our Winter Services teams are operating throughout the day.
"We expect the worst of the snow to have gone by early afternoon."
