THE FATAL car accident which took the life of 18-year-old Lisa Bahmani has has claimed a second victim.
Jim Elliot, 78, was injured in the two-vehicle crash on the A68 on Wednesday, April 13. and it has now been confirmed he passed away 11 days later at Borders General Hospital.
The pensioner from Jedburgh, was a passenger in a Suzuki Ignis driven by his 71-year-old wife who was seriously injured.
The driver of the other vehicle, 18 year old Lisa Bahmani, who was an animal car student from Hawick, also died in the accident which happened near Lilliardsedge Caravan Park.
The circumstances which led to the accident are yet to be confirmed.
