WORK on the essential carriageway re-surfacing on the B922 Cluny to Kinglassie double bends will now begin on Monday September 5.
This £120,000 project was programmed to commence on Monday August 29 but has been delayed to following Monday. The work will still be completed within two weeks, weather permitting.
For the works to be undertaken safely and to comply with Health and safety legislation, the road will be closed during this time, with diversion routes put in place. The works will be carried out Monday to Friday.
Access for local people will be maintained but there will be no through access.
Local residents will receive a letter in the next few days with more detail on local diversions and access.
Fife Council roads department apologises for any inconvenience caused by these essential works and thank people for their patience and co-operation during this time.
