LAMANCHA mum Jo Bullough has made it through to the Miss Pin Up UK finals in London.

Speaking to the Border Telegraph after the semi-finals, Jo said: "I found out that I was through the final at 5pm on Friday, I am both shocked but delighted. I want to put everything into the final and do myself proud!

Jo added: "I want to thank all my friends and family for being so supportive!"

Now in its third year, Miss Pin-Up UK, a nationwide competition, celebrates all women regardless of age or size.

Of the 20 girls participating, Jo was one of eight to be chosen to compete in the final today (Saturday, September 24), where the eventual winner will be crowned.

Miss Pin Up UK was created by Louise Rio Wild, who runs the website allaboutpinup.com. The competition celebrates all women, regardless of age or size.

This year, the event expanded to include Miss Pin Up International and Hairy Rascal, a new competition for men with facial hair.

Quarter-finalists were chosen via an online voting system, and five quarter-finals are held across the UK before the semi-finals and finals taking place at the London Tattoo Convention.

Prizes include shoes, clothing, hair accessories and photoshoots from sponsors.
