A £40,000 forklift has been stolen from a farm on the A697 near Lauder.
The incident happened overnight on Monday, October 10 into Tuesday, October 11.
Constable Nick Walker of Police Scotland said: "Overnight on Monday, October 10 into Tuesday, October 11, a red Manitou forklift, registration number SN12 BVZ was stolen from a farm on the A697 near to Lauder.
"The forklift is valued around £40,000.
"An Audi and a van were seen in suspicious circumstances in the area around midnight."
Anyone who has seen anything suspicious around the time of these thefts, or has any information regarding these thefts should contact Police via 101 or to call Crimestoppers confidentially on 0800 555 111.
