Prisoner accused of dangerous driving and failing to stop in Gala and Gattonside
A 28-year-old man will stand trial next week accused of dangerous driving in streets in Galashiels and Gattonside.
Stuart McCutcheon, who was described as a prisoner, has pleaded not guilty to failing to stop when requested to do by police, mounting a pavement, driving at speeds in excess of 80mph in a 60mph zone and overtaking in the face of oncoming traffic.
McCutcheon , who is currently remanded in custody, is due to face a jury on Tuesday at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
