THE PEDESTRIAN involved in last week's collision on the A91 has sadly died this weekend, it has been confirmed today.

As reported last week, a collision took place between a white Mercedes Vito and the 35-year-old man between Manor Powis and Logie Kirk roundabouts at around 6am on Monday, January 9.

The man was taken by ambulance to Western General Hospital in Edinburgh with serious injuries, and unfortunately passed away five days later.

Officers have today named him as Sixto Lopez Moreno, originally from Spain, who lived and worked in Dunblane.

Sergeant Ruth Aitchison of the Forth Valley Division's Road Policing Unit said: "Sixto very sadly passed away in the Western General on Saturday January 14.

"We continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision and are providing support to his family at this difficult time.

"I would urge anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has information which can help, and has not yet spoken to officers, to get in touch with us."
