POLICE have launched an appeal for information to help trace a man reported missing near Melrose.
Colin John Maycock from Dimpleknowe was last seen paying for fuel at the Hillside service station in Selkirk at 8.40pm on Thursday, February 17.
The 42-year-old was driving a White Transit Tipper with registration number YG56 DVR.
Since then Colin has not been in contact with friends and family and concern has grown for his welfare.
Anyone who can assist in locating Colin is asked to contact police immediately.
He is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall with a stocky build, short black hair with a goatee beard and wearing a blue Hollister fitted top with “Hollister” down the left arm.
Inspector Kevin Harris said: "We are keen to establish Colin’s whereabouts as soon as possible and anyone who has seen or heard from him since Thursday is asked to come forward.
“In addition, we would ask Colin to get in touch with friends, family or police and let us know you are safe and well.”
