AN ACCOUNTANT from Selkirk has been accused of forming a fraudulent scheme to obtain £60,000.
Forty two year old William Main of Priory Park, appeared in private at the town's sheriff court to face a charge of committing the offence between March 2013, and April 2015.
He made no plea or declaration and the case was continued for further examination.
Main - who has been a director of Selkirk-based Stark Main and Co. Ltd. since 2006 - was released on bail by Sheriff Peter Paterson.
