PEEBLES S1s were tremendous in their home semi-final of the Scottish Schools’ Gold Championship last week.
Drawn against Balfron in a home tie, Peebles S1s were given space to play their own game. They dominated from the start, focusing on moves worked out meticulously in training, and relentlessly clocked up the goals, leaving their opponents with few options for come-back.
The convincing final scoreline was a show of strength from Peebles as they head to the Scottish Schools’ finals this week where their opponents in the final will be North Berwick. The team is supported by Clubsport Tweeddale for this season.
Peebles Netball has reached the S1 gold final eight times in the last 10 years, winning it on four of these occasions.
