Here's the latest forecast for your weekend weather in the Borders from the Met Office.

During this evening and tonight there will be some evening brightness then dry overnight with clear spells, leading to a fairly widespread frost and perhaps a few mist patches as the winds remain light. The minimum temperature will be -2 °C.

On Saturday, any traces of frost will soon clear away to leave a dry, mild and sunny day. Light westerly winds will feature during the day, with onshore breezes developing along the east coast later. Warmest spots will be across the eastern Borders. The maximum temperature will be 15 °C.

The outlook from Sunday to Tuesday shows that Sunday will be dry with some sunshine, perhaps clouding over later. The weather will become colder in the east.

It will be dry early next week although rather cloudy at times.
