THE pupils of Tweedbank Primary did their bit for Comic Relief by raising more than £200.
On Red Nose Day, children wore their normal clothes and took part in a range of activities to help raise the cash for the charity.
Headteacher Alyson Weir told the Border Telegraph: "The school raised £224 by sponsored events such as throwing wet sponges at P7 teacher Mr Graham, 'Wear What You Want', hide and seek, a teacher class swap and a school staff versus P7 pupils football match.
"Lily Webster also sold cakes she had made at home with her mum and raised over £26 all by herself. All the staff and children had a great time helping others by supporting Comic Relief."
The Primary 7's won the football match 5-4.
