SEVERAL phone networks and TV services are down across parts of Peeblesshire due to 'essential maintenance'.
Residents living in Peebles have reported 'No service' problems with several phone networks in the area today (Monday, March 27).
The issues are currently affecting users on EE, Three, O2, Tesco Mobile, GiffGaff and Virgin Mobile.
A spokesperson for EE said: "We're investigating a recently reported problem in the area. There's no update as to when this will be fixed yet but our engineers are working hard to fix the issue."
On the coverage and network status page on the O2 website, it states: "Sorry we're currently working on a phone mast in this area. You might experience problems making calls, using the internet, or sending/receiving emails."
The problems are also affecting TV viewers and BBC radio listeners across the area due to 'essential engineering work' on the Peebles transmitter.
In a statement on the BBC's Reception Search website, they said: "Sorry, one or more services are affected by a fault or essential maintenance. We can't give an estimated fix time but engineers are working hard to restore services as quickly as possible.
