PEEBLESSHIRE drivers over 65 are urged to come along for a session to brush up on their motoring knowledge.
Transport Scotland have teamed up with the Police, Fire Service,
Ambulance Services plus some local companies with a grant to continue the pilot schemes which were started last year.
Drivers over the age of 65 will be the first to receive the sessions in Peebles, which separate classes organised for 14-17 year-olds and 17-25 year-olds.
A spokesperson from Police Scotland told us: "We hope the sessions will help to reduce the accident figures and make the Borders a safer place to drive. We'd urge any over 65's to come along to refresh their knowledge."
The free session will take place on Wednesday, April 5, between 9.30am and 11.30am or 1.30pm and 3.30pm in the Burgh Hall, Peebles.
