POLICE have launched a public appeal following a break-in at a home in the Borders.

The incident took place in the Acredale Road area in Eyemouth between 3pm on Friday, March 31 and 11.45pm on Tuesday, April 5.

Quantities of cash that included pounds, Euros, Hong Kong dollars and US dollars were stolen from the property. 

It is also understood that two Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air-King watches with silver bands, one with a blue face and one with a light pink face, were also taken (pictured below).

PC Gordon Anderson of Eyemouth Police Station said: "We're appealing for the public's help as part of our ongoing investigation and urge anyone who may have seen suspicious behaviour in the area during this time to come forward.

"Likewise, if you may have information on the whereabouts of the stolen cash or watches we'd ask that you get in touch with us or report this anonymously to Crimestoppers.
