THE Principals for this year's Walkerburn Festival were unveiled at the weekend.
Martha Bremner will be Festival Lass 2017.
And this year's Essay Winner is Rosie Callaghan.
School head Keith Belleville made the announcements during a highly successful coffee morning and table top sale on Saturday.
This year's Festival begins with the Church Service on Sunday, June 25.
Dawn Rodger, treasurer of Walkerburn Festival, told the Peeblesshire News: "We were delighted that so many people came along to support the coffee morning and greet the Principals.
"We are busily putting the final touches to this year's Festival programme of events and looking forward to a hugely enjoyable week."
Following the opening day's Church Service and Festival Bike Ride, the Installation of the Principals will take place on the Monday evening during the Festival Concert.
A packed programme of events, which also includes a scavenger hunt and an fancy dress parade, will conclude with the Fun Day and Sports on Saturday, July 1.
