A GALASHIELS man who breached his night time home curfew has been remanded in custody at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.

Jonathon Daley was supposed to stay in his Halliburton Place home between the hours of 7pm and 7am as part of a court order.

But the 20-year-old was found at a property in the Torwoodlee Road area of Galashiels last night (Wednesday) at 10.45pm.

He appeared from custody this morning when defence lawyer Ed Hulme explained that Daley had been feeling low and wanted to be in the company of friends.

Sentence was deferred on Daley until next Thursday when he has other matters calling and a motion for bail until then was refused.
