PHOTOGRAPHERS from Peebles have put their best images forward for their 2017 exhibition.

The members of the Peebles Camera Club have submitted a healthy number of prints to display as well as nearly 100 digital images to be screened in the Tweeddale Museum.

The exhibition was opened earlier this month by club chairman David Graham.

Mr Graham congratulated all participants who had put forward photographs for display after a successful season.

In addition to thanking the members, he expressed his gratitude to the staff at the Museum and Live Borders for helping the club put on a professional display.

David also recognised the Peeblesshire News and its articles about the club competitions together with some of the winning images.

The photographs on show in the museum have been taken in studio settings, plus abroad in locations such as Africa, America and Europe, as well as within Scotland covering various landscape, sport, flora and many wildlife images.

One member Colin McLean also loaned his personal collection of pre-digital cameras in support of the club.

The exhibition runs until Saturday, June 3: Monday-Friday 10.30am-12.30pm and 1-4pm; Saturdays 9.30am-12.30pm.
