A GALASHIELS man who punched two holes in a wall as he was being led from the dock at Selkirk Sheriff Court has received another prison sentence.
Twenty-nine-year-old Rory Morrison had just been jailed for six months for causing £300 worth of damage when he suddenly lashed out as he protested about the verdict.
Morrison pleaded guilty to a charge of wilfully and recklessly damaging property by punching two holes in a wall at the courthouse on April 11.
He was jailed for 60 days to run concurrently with his six months sentence which means his release date will not be affected.
