A PEEBLESSHIRE garden is holding a charity party in aid of people living with cancer in the area this weekend.
The team at Kailzie Gardens in Peebles have organised a garden party to support the Lavender Touch, a Borders charity which supports people with the illness.
Since launching in 2003, over 2,000 families who have been affected by cancer across the Borders have been supported by the service.
In order to keep charity running, the Lavender Touch needs to raise in excess of £50,000 a year to continue to support others.
Lady Angela Buchan-Hepburn told us: “I’d encourage as many people as possible to come here for the party, have a walk about and enjoy the gardens at Kailzie, and know that they are supporting a very good cause.
"Cancer is something which has touched so many families and we are delighted to support the Lavender Group with this event.”
The event takes place on Sunday between 2pm to 6pm. Anyone attending is asked to bring their own seating and a picnic.
There is also an option to order a picnic hamper from the Garden Cafe on 01721 722807. Tickets cost £6 and children are free.
