SCOTTISH Borders Council has launched a new survey to help enhance its services.
The local authority is asking Borderers about the type of council resources they access online.
Councillor Simon Mountford, SBC’s executive member for transformation and HR, said: “Many council services are already available on our website for people to use including paying for school meals, reporting dog fouling and booking a bulky uplift.
“We now want to enhance our services so that as many people as possible can conduct their business online at a time that suits them.
“As part of this survey we are asking people to let us know if there is anything they would like to be able to do online that they currently do by phone or in one of our contact centres. The results of the survey will help us to plan for the future.
“We realise not everyone uses the internet and responses from these residents are just as important. We need to make sure our services remain easily available to people who want to speak to us on the phone or face-to-face.”
The survey is available at www.scotborders.gov.uk/surveys and copies are available in libraries and contact centres.
Anyone completing the survey, which closes on July 19, can also choose to be entered into a free prize draw to win an M&S gift card.
