Appeal launched after front door vandalised in Hawick
POLICE in Hawick are appealing for information after the front door of a house was vandalised in the town.
Officers believe that vandalism to the property, located in the Wilton Park Road area, took place sometime between 11.30pm on Saturday, July 1 and noon on Sunday, July 2.
Anyone who may have seen suspicious behaviour in the area, or has any information about this, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 1601 of July 5.
Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
