A MOTORIST who drove the wrong way round Eyemouth Holiday Park while more than four times the legal alcohol limit has been banned from the road for 12 months at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
Paul Kerridge of Severn Gardens, Gateshead, pleaded guilty to driving with a breath/alcohol count of 90 microgrammes - the legal limit being 22 - on June 18.
The 56-year-old explained to Jedburgh Sheriff Court that he was moving the vehicle from the car park to his caravan and thought he was on private land.
He was spotted driving the wrong way round the park and police were contacted.
In addition to the year disqualification, which was reduced from 18 months due to his guilty plea, Kerridge was fined £500.
