A MISSING 60-year-old man may be in Galashiels, according to police.
Officers from West Mercia Police in Worcester, England are appealing for information to locate the missing man.
Stephen Raymond Perry, known as Steve, of no fixed abode was reported missing on Friday, June 30 and is currently believed to be in Scotland.
He is known to have previous links to Herefordshire in England but it is thought he may be sleeping in a tent north of the Border in the areas of Aberdeen, Galashiels or Inverness.
A statement from West Mercia Police said: "Steve may be using soup kitchens in the area to obtain food and may also be seen in local places of worship.
"He is described as white, around 5'7" tall, with brown hair and blue eyes and is described as often wearing no footwear.
"Officers are keen to make contact with Mr Perry to ensure that he is safe and well, and anyone with information should call West Mercia Police on 101."
