BACKGROUND reports have been ordered into an Eyemouth man who admitted spitting in the faces of two people during a disturbance in a public house.
Twenty nine year old Christopher Paterson pleaded guilty at Jedburgh Sheriff Court to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner in the Newcastle Arms public house in High Street, Coldstream, on March 9.
He struggled violently with staff and customers and challenged others to fight and tried to get back into the premises after being told to leave due to his drunken condition.
Paterson of Queens Road, admitted spitting in the face of a female employee and also another man.
He will be sentenced at Jedburgh Sheriff Court on September 4.
