A HAWICK bar was at the centre of an attemped break-in last night.
The incident took place sometime at The Office Bar on Tower Knowe between 11pm yesterday (Tuesday, August 22) and 10am this morning (August 23).
Anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area, or has any information about this, is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 1115 of 23 August.
Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
