BACKGROUND reports have been ordered into a Selkirk man who admitted three offences when he appeared at the town's sheriff court.
Dean McCallum, of Scotts Crescent, pleaded guilty to assaulting a male in Harrison Place on February 5.
The 26-year-old also admitted damaging a car in Tower Street and behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
Sentence was deferred until September 14 and McCallum was remanded in custody.
