A FATAL accident inquiry is to be held into the death of a Hawick motorist almost two years ago.
Sixty-four-year-old James Miller died after his red Vauxhall Cavalier car was in collision with a white Renault lorry travelling in the opposite direction.
The accident happened on the A7 near Teviothead on the morning of Thursday, December 10, 2015.
Mr Miller's car left the road and caught fire, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The lorry driver was taken to hospital and later released.
Five days have been set aside for the inquiry which is due to get underway at Jedburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, November 20.
