Pensioner dies after crashing car in Peebles
A PENSIONER has died in hospital after crashing his car in Peebles.
The 74-year-old was trying to park his Suzuki Splash in Venlaw View at around 10.45am on Thursday, when he collided with a parked Renault Twingo.
The man was rushed to Borders General Hospital in a critical condition but later died.
Police confirmed the cause of death was due to "medical-related matters while behind the wheel".
