A TROUBLED teenager has been given until midnight on Monday to leave the Scottish Borders.

Daniel Bradley pleaded guilty at Selkirk Sheriff Court to headbutting a laminated door panel and breaking it at the accident and emergency department of Borders General Hospital on October 4.

The 19-year-old had met a Galashiels woman on the Internet who he shared suicidal thoughts with and he had come to the Borders from his home in Stone, Staffordshire.

His lawyer explained he suffered from a number of conditions including Aspergers, epilepsy and a complex PTSD.

Sentence was deferred for two months for good behaviour with the special condition that Bradley leaves the Borders by midnight on Monday and returns down south to his mother's home.
