A KELSO man has been banned from a local public house until the outcome of his trial at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
Twenty-four-year-old Joshua Watson is accused of shouting and swearing and threatening others with violence at the White Swan, now re-named the Tipsy Ghillie, in Kelso on October 6.
He also denies a second charge of assaulting a man by repeatedly punching him on the face to his injury.
Watson pleaded not guilty to both charges and a trial date was set for February 6 with an intermediate hearing on January 8.
He was released on bail with the special condition not to approach or contact four named people and not to enter the Tipsy Ghillie premises.
