A HAWICK man who breached his community payback order has been jailed for 150 days at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
Thirty-one-year-old Brian Chilcott had been given the alternative to a custodial sentence which included attending the Caledonian Men’s Programme.
He had pleaded guilty to uttering threats of violence and making offensive comments at a house in Harden Place, Hawick, back in June 2015.
But after being told Chilcott had breached the Order, Sheriff Peter Paterson imposed the prison sentence of 150 days.
