A FLOOD warning has been issued for the Scottish Borders.

The Scottish Enviornment Protection Agency (SEPA) have issued an amber flood alert for the Borders, with two red flood warnings for the Ettrick Valley and Hawick to Monteviot.

River levels in the region are expected to rise throughout Tuesday and into Wednesday due to a combination of snowmelt and rainfall.

SEPA believe this could cause some isolated river and surface water flooding issues throughout the region, with flooding of low lying land and roads possible.
