A THREE-year-old has been rushed to Borders General Hospital after a collision with a van in Galashiels.
The incident occured at around 3.15pm this afternoon (Thursday, Feburary 1) at Stirling Street near Galashiels' Transport Interchange.
Buses were stopped from entering the Interchange while the emergency services attended the scene.
Police Scotland told the Border Telegraph that the child's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The Galashiels Interchange has since reopened, with Borders Bus services departing as usual.
