A JEDBURGH woman has admitted a benefits fraud totalling £10,000 at the town's sheriff court.
Twenty three year old Tara Morris failed to disclose she was in relationship with a man who was living with her at her home in Priors Court and was supporting her.
She received £6,640.60 of income support she was not entitled to between December 2014 and September 2016.
Morris also obtained around £3400 in housing benefit.
Sheriff Derrick McIntyre said that due to the amount background reports were inevitable.
Sentence was deferred until April 17 for the production of a Criminal Justice Social Work Report.
