THE A7 has reopened in both directions this evening after a road traffic collision south of Hawick.
The incident, which occured at around 6.30pm, involved two vehicles near Newmill.
Emergency services attended the scene and drivers were advised to use the B6357 between Canonbie and Hawick.
Traffic Scotland tweeted to confirm the road had reopened at 9.38pm.
