Husband denies assaulting wife on Earlston High Street
A 58-year-old man has appeared from custody at Selkirk Sheriff Court accused of assaulting his wife in Earlston's High Street on Monday.
Chun Tze is charged with grabbing her clothing, lifting her up, dragging her and throwing her to the ground.
He pleaded not guilty and a trial date was fixed for July 5 with an intermediate hearing on June 4.
Tze of High Street, Earlston, was granted bail by Sheriff Gerry MacMillan.
