CHURCH Street in Galashiels will be closed for the rest of today (Friday, May 18) and overnight.
SBC have said that the closure is needed by a utility company to carry out 'emergency repairs'.
The authority has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
As of 4pm on Friday afternoon, the road is expected to reopen to traffic on Saturday (May 19).
