A GALASHIELS man has been remanded in custody at Jedburgh Sheriff Court after being accused of being concerned in the supply of heroin.
John Chapman of Laurel Grove made a second private court appearance following the recovery of an estimated £3500 worth of the class A drug in the Langlee area of Galashiels earlier this month.
The 27-year-old is also charged with possession of cannabis, etizolam and obstructing police.
Chapman made no plea and he was fully committed.
An application for bail was refused and he was remanded in custody by Sheriff Peter Paterson.
